Biljana (Bibi) Naumovski is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. As a student, she completed her internship in the Valley View School District as a Clinical Counseling Intern working with students by offering individual and group counseling, as well as crisis intervention.Bibi has also gained experience through her work at Timberline Knolls, a residential treatment facility. Here she assists residents who struggled with eating disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and substance abuse.While receiving her Bachelor’s in Psychology, she worked as an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) Therapist. She conducted therapy with children who have Autism. She used positive reinforcement to help create positive changes in children’s behavior.

As a counselor today, Bibi utilizes a Client-Centered approach in order to help clients feel understood. Bibi also prefers to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). When working with children especially, she believes Play Therapy is important because “play” is a child’s language.

Bibi is a National Certified Counselor. She also has memberships to Psi Chi National Honor Society and the Illinois Counseling Association. Additionally, Bibi is fluent in Macedonian and in her free time she likes to spend time with family and friends, go to the gym, and paint!
